We are many. Before throwing stuff out, it is always a good idea to see if it is still usable to others. Second hand-stores often accept old things in decent condition. Better to re-use than producing new, considering this planet's limited resources.

Definately, people on the whole throw out "junk" without even considering it's uses to someone else.
Yup. I'm moving in a month or so, and I've got a pretty big pile of "stuff someone might want". I'll take it down to the second hand store and let them go through it.
