Film noir.

Terribly sorry for the slow updates, but good things are afoot that require a good deal of my spare time. I recently acquired my own domain and am currently constructing my very own site to showcase my creatice work, of which this blog will be part. Exciting!

Wired up and good to go, though not quite where I left it.

Hey again. I'm overwhelmed by the responses I have gotten this month or so I have been away. I'm sorry I haven't updated, but life has been a bit rough on me. Here is the quick thing:

1. Linus and Cecilia has to move from their apartment since their landlord is selling.
2. They find a new apartment and book it.
3. Linus and Cecilia decides that they should really separate.
4. Linus and Cecilia still has to move to the new apartment since they have no place else to live otherwise.
5. Linus and Cecilia then has to find separate places to live.
6. They do, and thus move again for the second time in one month.

I'm pretty much near the end of step 6. It has been a pretty rough ride, on all levels, but I can see the end of it now. I will get back to the regular updates from now on. Thanks for bearing with me!

TV-time?

I've never been a big fan of TV. I don't know why, it's just not my thing.

Road to perdition?

I was watching a fish. (Two fishes actually, but this particular story only relates to the depicted one.) Her name was Constance. I had taken care of her for quite some time - a month, perhaps two. Everything was going well; we chatted daily, tried to figure out the meaning of life, I fed her. The usual things.

One day, however, things did not seem right. Thunderous moanings bellowed outside, while the skies showered us with tears. I hurried home, afraid of what I might find. Once inside I ran to Constance's bowl - but I was too late. She didn't move.

I was in shock. With tears in my eyes I rung up my friend, Constance's owner and care-taker, and forwarded the sad news. He came by, and we had a beautiful ceremony. It was difficult, but we pulled through. We take solace in knowing that Constance have finally found rest with the merciful porcelain god.

Fare thee well, Constance. You will be missed.

Curing cancer.

Some diseases are worse than others. Once you think you've gotten rid of them, they are there again - spreading like vines. I've lost a few to cancer, and it is a bitch. You'll pull through, llamas.

Spiralling out of control

Sometimes things seems to be caught in a spiral that keeps on spinning faster and faster. You want to stop, but can't - while you are afraid of the end station, you are also afraid of what might happen if you jump the wagon. A horrible feeling.

Taking things for granted.

Some things are esay to take for granted. Your life, your health, your family. Or even water. And yet the truth is that it all can be erased within a short time span. Perhaps we should cherish what we got more often. (This is written with ~dkbb~ in mind. I hope that you'll be able to get back to normal soon.)

Keys.

Useful things, these. To think such small things can guard something as big as a house.

Ahoy, Superman!

Is it a cloud? A plane? No! It is Superman! (Being able to fly would be so fun.)

"You look like how I feel."

I've caught something. No energy, some random coughing, head aching, body hurting. I don't dig it one bit, but I suppose it could be worse.

Everyday, something new.

It just amazes me how much patterns and interesting objects there are all around us. Every day there is something new to see. It'll take awhile before I get tired of life.

Once a sailor, always a sailor.

This man went out to sea when he was fifteen. He has travelled all over the world by boat, and visited an incredible number of places. Now he is a bit over sixty and retired, and lives in a small village in southern Sweden. He still sails out to sea every day - now checking and setting his fishing nets.

Insert bike here.

Since I moved to Lund two years ago, I've had three bicycles stolen from me. A friend's friend put up this theory: if you've had a bike stolen, you've contributed one to the "system", and that makes you entitled to "remove" one from the system as well. Sometimes I want it to be like that - it would certainly make it easier on my financial situation.

Cultural exchange.

International students house. The Swedish government is currently debating over whether or not to charge international students for studying here. A bad idea, in my opinion. The cultural and scientific exchange is invaluable.

I love the sun.

It is amazing what an impact light can have. I am so much happier when the sun is out and it's warm outside - everything just seem to go my way. Except that it's too hot to sleep... but that is a side effect I'll gladly accept.

Rushing off.

Destination: unknown. Sometimes you have to stop and think, before life has gone away. (This really is one of those pictures better off in full size. Click it.)

Time to do my build-up.

Summer is, at last, truly here. As of today, I have finished my final exam. I now look forward to a few weeks on the beach before work begins, to allow my mental capacities be rebuilt. Just like the wall above soon will be. It will be heavenly - I really need some relaxation.

Love me do.

We all need support sometimes. Very few people manages to be an island for a long time, no matter if they are men or women. Cecilia, in the picture above, has helped me countless times. Thank you, darling.

Linus is me.

Once upon a time, in a city of tradition
there was a wondering young.
With many thoughts, he made it his mission:
to categorize the thinking, if memory would dose.
(At least until the bells had rung;
he finished his education; and received his rose.)

This is me. My name is Linus. I'm a young Swedish university student trying to get a grip on the world. Pictures, rhymes and poems help with that. Let's see where it all leads. I'll be glad to have you with me.
