Tired friend. Ever been so tired you can hardly walk? I am practically that - ever since the summer came, I haven't been able to sleep. Too warm outside. But I'm not complaining... winter has more bad side-effects. It seems like most good things has some minor drawback.
Sometimes you just have to walk away and be alone. We can't control circumstances, but we can to a certain degree control our minds and how we experience those circumstances.
International students house. The Swedish government is currently debating over whether or not to charge international students for studying here. A bad idea, in my opinion. The cultural and scientific exchange is invaluable.
It is amazing what an impact light can have. I am so much happier when the sun is out and it's warm outside - everything just seem to go my way. Except that it's too hot to sleep... but that is a side effect I'll gladly accept.

Light is very important in how one perceives an image. A lesson I learned through the above picture, which is about three years old. It pushed me to test my limits. I'm still very fond of it.
Summer is, at last, truly here. As of today, I have finished my final exam. I now look forward to a few weeks on the beach before work begins, to allow my mental capacities be rebuilt. Just like the wall above soon will be. It will be heavenly - I really need some relaxation.
We all need support sometimes. Very few people manages to be an island for a long time, no matter if they are men or women. Cecilia, in the picture above, has helped me countless times. Thank you, darling.
This slab of stone says "folkmakt", which is swedish for "people power". When does the general public hold the power? If not in a democracy as Sweden, where else?
On a building. The cover used by construction workers that is supposed to prevent debris from falling on the street below, reflecting the gazing sunlight differently depending on the angle of of the sunrays. Proves, again, that beauty can be found in unexpected places.
