Poppy field, continued.

Whenever I feel like I have to calm down, nature helps.

Constance.

I find myself taking care of a fish during summer. Her name is Constance, named after Oscar Wilde's wife. I'm going to show her the time of her life.

Meatballs!

Had I had the proper knowledge and funds, I think I would have liked to become a vegetarian.

Popping out.

Sometimes people say that mankind has violated nature. I like to think that we are heading in the right direction, with hybrid cars and whatnot.

Handsfree.

Sometimes we get stuck in our ways. Perhaps we should look for alternative options every now and then.

Magic.

What would you do if you could do magic? (I have been away for a few days - but the good news is that I now have a lot of nice material!)

Dead tired.

Tired friend. Ever been so tired you can hardly walk? I am practically that - ever since the summer came, I haven't been able to sleep. Too warm outside. But I'm not complaining... winter has more bad side-effects. It seems like most good things has some minor drawback.

Hush...

People everywhere try to express themselves. They might just have something good to say - perhaps we should try and listen?

Toilet-bot.

Toilet-bot: Always at your service. (Just a bit of humour.)

Look ahead.

While it is important to have an outlook for the future, we must not forget that things happen now.

Peace of mind, or piece of my mind?

Sometimes you just have to walk away and be alone. We can't control circumstances, but we can to a certain degree control our minds and how we experience those circumstances.

Cultural exchange.

International students house. The Swedish government is currently debating over whether or not to charge international students for studying here. A bad idea, in my opinion. The cultural and scientific exchange is invaluable.

I love the sun.

It is amazing what an impact light can have. I am so much happier when the sun is out and it's warm outside - everything just seem to go my way. Except that it's too hot to sleep... but that is a side effect I'll gladly accept.

Orange.

Some colours are more eye-catching than others. Orange is definitely one of them.

Rushing off.

Destination: unknown. Sometimes you have to stop and think, before life has gone away. (This really is one of those pictures better off in full size. Click it.)

New and shiny, meet the old and battered.

Two worlds colliding. What are the richer countries seen like when helping the less unfortunate ones?

Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder.

It is amazing what some people can do with glass.

Evening light.

Light is very important in how one perceives an image. A lesson I learned through the above picture, which is about three years old. It pushed me to test my limits. I'm still very fond of it.

Time to do my build-up.

Summer is, at last, truly here. As of today, I have finished my final exam. I now look forward to a few weeks on the beach before work begins, to allow my mental capacities be rebuilt. Just like the wall above soon will be. It will be heavenly - I really need some relaxation.

Sign it!

Perspective is everything. There are always at least two sides to every story, or image. Seeing them, knowing them, is the difficult part.

Love me do.

We all need support sometimes. Very few people manages to be an island for a long time, no matter if they are men or women. Cecilia, in the picture above, has helped me countless times. Thank you, darling.

Power to the people!

This slab of stone says "folkmakt", which is swedish for "people power". When does the general public hold the power? If not in a democracy as Sweden, where else?

Flowering a building.

On a building. The cover used by construction workers that is supposed to prevent debris from falling on the street below, reflecting the gazing sunlight differently depending on the angle of of the sunrays. Proves, again, that beauty can be found in unexpected places.
